The New Year of the Water Dragon is getting our attention right from the start. This month’s ruler, the Water Tiger enters the scene with a dramatic punch. It will feel like suddenly all the flood gates opened up! The Yang Water of February’s dominant energy make-up matches up with the Dragon’s yearly Yang Water creating surprising changes to our landscape. Add to this the good news about Neptune’s Transit into its own house of Pisces, and we are sure to be showered with huge cosmic and earthly showers during the coming months. The MOST exciting shifting days and months of 2012 have arrived. We should all look forward to some of the most vital, positive and restorative upgrades to our planetary and human consciousness with great anticipation.

Yes, our consciousness has outgrown and is shaking off the old decaying power systems: their days are numbered. With or without any money system, those sovereign humans who came into their full awareness will take initiative to help the rest ride out the rough waves of change. Meanwhile the Dragon/Tiger duo will show us the way out of the jungle.  Being stuck in the old outworn paradigms can make these transitions painful, so staying stuck with them is not recommended. Instead, take out your best, wildest, most creative idea, something you feel most passionate about. Make it happen, work it, share it with your most intimate community and if they too, accept it, need it and like it, then share it with the bigger community. This is how the new pathway is laid, brick by brick – paving it above the decay, the rubble of old, greedy corporate and government zombie structures.

Neptune along with the Water Tiger is at the gates, ready to wash it all away, never to be seen again. Do you feel it, like I do? Can you see how  giant cosmic waves have been unleashed, they are about to cleanse away the old, outworn systems: the organized religions, the military-industrial-corporate-government- police state –complexes  right down the gutter, swallowed up by the Big Waters of Mother Earth?

Yang Water can also be likened to people power – the collective – the great nameless masses of humans of our planet. This much Yang Water can mobilize, shift, remove and rearrange the social landscape in no time! Unexpected changes may be spontaneously formed, simply by the sheer number of people gathering momentum!

Both Tigers and Dragons favour Social Justice, sovereign power and equity among all living beings. Also, interestingly, last time Neptune was back in its own house, in the mid-1800-s, slavery was abolished and revolutions flared up all over Europe, while the only-ever Civil War erupted in the US of A. There is no such thing as a coincidence.

Can you feel the magnificent power of these magnetic cosmic energies? We are getting massive energy-upgrade showers from Father Sun via increased amounts of Solar Flares, connecting it all to the magnetic core of our Earth.

That’s just for starters! This is not a time when you can fall asleep, hoping to hide to avoid these giant upgrades yourself! First A little information on Flying Stars:

Flying Stars are traditionally known as San Yuan, translated as Heaven Energy, or Chi energy… Like everything in nature, this energy constantly changes course.  Like the changing seasons, the cycles of night and day, or the tides of the oceans, the Flying Stars are always on the move.

This time the unfavourable, troublesome 5 Yellow Earth Star visits the centre.  The 5 Earth star is associated with multiple problems, possible illness or various obstacles.  It is advised to use Metal as a Feng Shui cure to negate its harmful effects. Wind-chimes, metal sculptures, coins, or similar effects all make suitable cures. The traditional *Salt-Water cure is also a very effective method to ward off unneeded trouble in a personal or work environment. The difficulties this Earth Star can bring should not be taken lightly. In 5-Star ruled months we usually witness stronger than average Earth changes: earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, mud slides, severe weather, etc… This month, needless to say, the central areas of a continent or a country need more preparedness and attention.

Fortunately, the malefic influence of the negative 3 angry Wood Star will be mitigated during this February by the beneficial 4 Wood Star in the East. However, in the South-Western parts, the two other negative Stars, the 2 Black Earth sickness Star  and the yearly 3 angry Star are  competing for dominance. Hopefully, they also end up mitigating one another.

It seems the Stars are in some energy battle with each other in all areas. It is as if we are forewarned to stay on alert. Like the dramatic Tiger ruling this month, the Stars seem to want to relay important messages to get our attention.  Each area appears to me like an exclamation mark. Almost all areas could see some dramatic developments: something unexpected. No stone will be unturned this February. The line-up of the Stars suggests that the time is here to take action. What are Flying Stars

The Flying Stars identify where the positive and/or negative life-effecting Heaven Energies are located according to mathematical formulas. During last year this Star was ruling in the center, and we could witness how well it prepared the way for the final dismantle of the old systems.

The most diverse of the Stars, it can bring legal conflict, robberies, but its alternative aspects point to the potential for increased spiritual and communication awareness. It is flying to the North-West this year, opposite of the Grand Duke (SE): it appears to be continuing with the process of removal.

South: 1 Water Star – Favorable -Tang Lang: This is a star of action. Water in the Southern regions of a country, continent or the planet could mean turbulence in any waterways or ocean shores. The 1 Water Star is also known to increase one’s reputation, recognition and development.

South-West: 3 Wood Star – Unfavorable-Lu Cun: The center for arguments and battles, it must be protected with Feng Shui cures as well. South-Western countries, or the SW regions of any given country, continent or the planet may be affected by controversial debates, legal conflicts or natural disasters.

South-East: 5 Yellow Earth Star– Unfavorable-The location of the Grand Duke.  This area should be watched most, as conflicts, natural disasters, local wars may erupt – it is considered the ‘triple conflict’ location. South-Eastern continents, the SE regions of any country or the planet should use caution and be well prepared. Homes, offices facing SE need Feng Shui cures for protection.

West: 8 Earth Star- Favorable- This is one of the most beneficial of the Flying Stars, symbolic of wealth, favorable business opportunities or good financial fortune. The Western areas of a country, continent or the planet will be blessed with better fortune in 2012.

This year the New Moon signals the beginning of the Lunar New Year starting on January 23^rd 2012 – 9th of February 2013.

OVERVIEW

Change, Change and more Change! More change in short intervals than we can imagine, plan or anticipate! Expect the Unexpected – every step of the way!

Based on the cycle of the 5 elements, the year of the Water Dragon is symbolized by Yang Water above Yang Earth.  Although in 2012 the Water- above-Earth elements are in conflict, the resulting outcome will be less severe, than what we witnessed during the last two Metal/Wood years. After all, Water and Earth can blend if needed.

Yang Water above Yang Earth represents a large body of water: a lake, river or an ocean. In Nature, where water is more powerful, it builds wells, pockets or lakes into the earth. If Earth is more powerful, it blocks, contains or derails the Water’s flow. So in this year of the Water Dragon, where the Dragon can be viewed as a giant mountain range, Water and Earth will test each other’s mighty powers. We could witness great dramas, sudden changes of events on all levels.

Dragons are famous for being unpredictable as they love attention and the limelight. This Dragon-ruled year will be the third and final potential year containing the next ruling element: Wood. There is a small ‘storage’ of Wood contained in the branches of this Water Dragon sign.

The Water element is associated with the emotion of fear, and Earth is associated with the emotion of meditation. So in 2012 we can expect the general mood to be quiet yet anxious – due to fear of the unknown, or the unexpected.

The mystical Water Dragon is said to be able to reach into the beyond: lifting the veil between the visible, elemental world and the higher layers of existence. This quality will bring us into the realms many ancient prophecies speak of. Synchronistic events, telepathic communications, premonitions and the dream-like flow of life may replace the harsh dualistic reality we had to contend with for eons of time. Led by the mighty Dragon, 2012 is going to be the transitional year –gently moving us into the higher realms of Consciousness, while slowly releasing from the sticky bonds of space-time.

60 years ago, during the last Water Dragon year of 1952 the world was immersed into the ‘cold war’ years. We could say that wars never really disappeared: they simply went underground. We usually cannot see with the naked eye what activities are going on beneath the surface of the waters of a lake or the ocean.

However, this time, if we pay attention, we should find out about the ‘behind-the-scenes’ activities of political and military powers, high finance, and the multi-national corporate elite. Like the clear waters of the ocean, in 2012 everything will start to become transparent.

The Dragon likes to think of himself as a powerful hero-figure, a fair leader, a sort of Robin Hood. The Water element adds to his mystical qualities -it helps make him bring the truth up to the surface. Yang Water also gives him added intelligence, generosity and the patience to listen. Water Dragons by nature are more flexible, free-spirited and easy-going than the other Dragon groups. Although they may passionately adapt a specific cause they are much more willing to be open to dialogue.

Dragons in general are fearless leaders, inventors, poets, capable of motivating masses of people during and long after their earthly lives (i.e. Martin Luther King, John Lennon, David Icke, Drumvalo Melchizedek; Rumi – Dragon Birth day; Nikola Tesla, Thomas Jefferson –Dragon Birth months).

Generally, Yang-years are more dynamic, more eventful and fast-paced than Yin energy years. If you were bored in 2011, the speedy months of 2012 will keep you hopping. One thing is for sure: this year is not going to be for the faint-hearted.

ECONOMY AND FINANCE

After the Rabbit the Dragon is the third in line to rule during the Spring Season, corresponding to the month of April. (in the northern hemisphere). Like the volatile weather in April: often changing daily from rainy to sunny, to snow or even bitter cold, the moods of our Dragon-sign changes frequently. This volatile atmosphere will be reflected in the year ahead.

Since Water gives energy to Wood, environmental businesses respecting Mother Earth could have unexpected growth and success in 2012, showing a great example to the rest of the industries with their innovative, solution-oriented policies, that can benefit us all.

Real-Estate and housing-related industries:  Like water collecting in earth enclosures such as small pools or lakes, huge sums of money made from Real Estate (Earth) may end up collecting in the pockets of a few individuals or groups.  As I predicted last year, the housing market was highly speculative. However, this year, the anger of the people robbed of their properties rises to the surface, demanding fundamental banking reforms, regulations and/or resulting in wide-spread law suits.

Earth-ruled industries will see more success in 2012, such as the food and hospitality industry and the service sector. This year the winners will be the ones who are willing to make progressive adjustments, offering higher quality foods and services. In spite of government restrictions, groups in the organic foods, herbal remedies, and supplements movements worldwide demand healthy, non-GMO foods and remedies and this year they are more than ready to fight for the health of their families. In 2012 the Water Dragon can ensure a winning path for such causes.

Transportation industries, such as shipping and airlines, the Internet, communications and information technologies, and the mechanical engineering industries could face a creative, yet very competitive year.

 During the first half of 2011 some optimism returned to many regarding the global financial situation. Later, by the fall and winter seasons however, -due to the absence of Fire – the banking industry, along with several other Fire-related industries began heading in the same general crisis-level direction as in 2008.

Fire is absent in 2012 as well, so optimism will be at a minimum: people are facing sober, realistic times. The good news is, that this trend will generate a higher spiritual awareness for all of us to reach within. We are to tap into our own survival skills, talents and resources.

At the same time the Dragon’s Yang Water brings a flowing energy into the mix, inspiring small and large communities, neighborhoods and countries to find their own solutions to their unique situations.  If people continue to look for outside help to bring balance, peace and prosperity to their lives, in 2012 it will be more  obvious than ever that it is a waste of time and energy to go down such deceptive paths.

POLITICAL OUTLOOK

We are all still exhausted from some of the negative aspects of the Metal-ruled currents of 2010/2011, resulting in unlawful wars, back-stabbings and assassinations that colored the political scene these past years.

The mood changes to that of active participation and CHANGE. The powerful currents of Yang Water above Earth can motivate people to get active once again: join forces and bring about potential reforms that were -until now- invisibly dormant beneath the surface. The generous driving force this year is towards progress on all levels and in all areas: governmental, school, healthcare systems, to name a few.

Yang Water also rules the military. Substantial reforms and much needed changes cannot be delayed anymore. A sort of ‘Change of the Guards’ is expected: a total overhaul is possible in many countries around the globe. Meanwhile, charitable events, political elections will be well-attended and debated with more fervor, than in any prior recent years.

WEATHER – EARTH CHANGES

In 2011 Metal above Wood dominated and strongly affected Mother Earth as I predicted last year. Greater numbers of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and wide-spread droughts resulted from Metal’s harsh effects on the environment for the past2 years.

This year’s Yang Water element will enter the stage with a dramatic punch. We could encounter its powerful impact early during the Yang Water Tiger month of February and Yin Water Rabbit month in March. The Dragon’s main element, Earth will eventually calm and store the raging waters. Between April and October Earth’s power will dominate over Water. Then by October-December the raging energies of Yang Water could return in full force, especially, in the month of December, when Yang Water meets the Yang Water of December’s ruler, the Water Rat.

Also, due to the excessive powers of Yang Water the potential for earth changes could be witnessed in the form of hurricanes, tsunamis, underwater volcanic eruptions, landslides or major flooding in any part of our planet –in early in 2012. During the clashing Earth energies between Dragon and Dog in October may also result in powerful earthquakes. The symbol for Dragon is a mountain chain. When such massive Earth starts shifting, the result may be enormous earthquakes in many parts of the globe. During the Dog-ruled month of October, the likelihood for massive eruptions or earthquakes is extremely high, specifically, in the South-Eastern regions of a country, continent or the planet.

HEALTH

The five elements are associated with emotions are: Earth: meditation, Fire: joy, Wood: anger, Water: fear and Metal: sadness. Therefore the general mood remains sober and somewhat fearful, depending on the months of the year.

Blending Water with Earth may result in murky, muddy waters: symbolic of illness. In 2012 there are strong possibilities for epidemics, more toxic poisons entering the waters, the food chain and the air.

Our filtering organs, the liver and kidney may become overwhelmed while working hard to get rid of high amounts of toxins. Therefore, it is well-advised to use prevention and protection-via alternative healing methods.

Water not only rules the kidneys, but also the reproductive organs, and our immune system. As viruses and toxic substances are rampant, extra precaution should be used in these areas as well.

THE DRAGON YEAR AND THE OTHER SIGNS

As I noted above, this fast-paced, fast-changing year is not for the faint-hearted. If you like sudden turns of events or rapidly changing circumstances you came to the right place. For those who want to dig in their heels, refuse to accept the changes affecting us all, this year may be a bit more of a painful ride.

Before we proceed, I must remind you, that every single personal chart is very complex, and while there may be some clashing or lucky aspects reflected in your individual charts, it is best to consult with a competent BaZi practitioner and not get fearful or too excited without knowing the full picture.

The most compatible signs with the Dragon are Monkey, Rat and the Rooster. They can expect this year to be more effective or beneficial.

The most unfavorably affected sign is the Dog, as it is in direct opposition with the Dragon.  Life changes in the area of work, relationships, moving house, etc. can be anticipated. Meanwhile, the Dragon sign can also experience more frustrations, sudden changes, or health-related problems as the Dragon occupies a ‘self-penalty’ position in 2012.

Grand Duke:  The great planet Jupiter travels to a different location each year, and this year it will be visible towards the South-East direction. Traditionally, it is noted that we must not disturb the Grand Duke, thus traveling in the South-Eastern direction could bring complications of some nature.

‘Flower of Romance Star’: This year the Rooster will be the lucky recipient of this beneficial influence. Marriage, engagements or new romance is indicated.

‘Traveling Horse Star’: In 2012 the Tiger and Dog are going to experience more than average travel opportunities: this could also include moving house or office.

• DOG - Caution is needed in all areas of life! Since the Dog is in for a more challenging year, it is best not to take chances and be vigilant with extreme sports, especially earth-related sports or jobs with construction, fast driving, long-distance road trips, etc.
  

• DRAGON – Do not take yourself too serious this year. Watch for hidden dangers, sudden quarrels, worries that are easier to sidestep and avoid. Take extra care with health to minimize long-term problems.

• MONKEY – Smiling again! Good year to make improvements for health, body and family relations. 2012 can bring a significant spiritual awakening, but you will see improvements on the financial and personal level as well.

• RAT – A nice change of pace from last year’s unpredictable traps and annoying surprises. The Dragon is your friend: now is the time to put your best foot forward. Start that new project, make new contacts: you can succeed.

• ROOSTER -Great relief! It was a tough ride in 2011 for the Rooster. The confusion and obstacles give way to new opportunities and great social connections. Also, engagement or marriage is likely.
  

• BOAR – The Dragon likes the friendly Boar, they can mutually benefit from each other socially and in business relationships. The Boar can get promotions, increased income or may find a successful partnership in 2012.

• SHEEP – Dragons do not like to be challenged. The Sheep tends to question authority and the status quo. It is best for the Sheep to watch out not to enter into verbal battles, and alienate those who could help him.

• HORSE – Your best friend, the Dog is in a tough position this year, so at times you may not be too happy about how things are going. Best to take it easy after your lucky streak in 2011.

• SNAKE –The Dragon is helpful to you, if you meet him halfway. You can learn to trust again, especially if you trust your own inner senses first. If you persevere, you may find yourself in unexpected fortunate situations.

• RABBIT- Dragons do not mind giving a hand up to their Rabbit friends, so this year may go a bit smoother than last year.  A great year for travel and/or study.

• TIGER – The Dragon can cut you a lot of slack, especially in business and partnerships. This year continues to be smooth for you. Do not let the Dragon or anyone else hurt your ego.

• OX – Continue with the hard work you started last year. This year may be a bit competitive, and you may not get noticed until the following year – the year of the Snake will bring more recognition.

SUMMARY

In summary, the New Lunar Year, 2012 will be a dynamic, fast-paced year with many unexpected challenges, dramatic changes and potentials for real progress for our Human Family.

While the battle of Yang Water and Earth represents a conflicting situation, a compromise is more possible than in earlier years. The formidable task of dismantling the old outworn, decaying systems is entering its final, irreversible phase in 2012.

  In the last few years all of the long-standing huge walls of the old powers began crumbling and this time they are on their last legs. Those who love peace, harmony, connecting with family and community life, will experience a thrilling and rewarding year just like in 2011.

 I envision 2012 to be a monumental year bringing many of us closer to our star-gate (jumping-off) points allowing us to exist both in the current linear space-time constructs and on the newly appearing time-space levels. Our Consciousness Evolution reached the point that makes us function more and more from the ‘knowing-from-the-heart’ –place. We are slowly shedding the old mind constructs of the 3^rd and 4^th Dimensions. It is time to take our final exams and immerse into higher dimensional Consciousness.

What is the best advice for 2012? Keep your focus and remain centered if at all possible. With the turbulent waters shifting us in every possible direction, it is going to be a real chore to keep our inner calm and remain steadfast. This would not be a good year to hide behind addictive substances, or unconscious behaviors. If we do, the oncoming tides can wash away our opportunities to truly connect to our Sovereign Selves.

Monthly Forecast: Month of the Metal Ox – Xin Chou: Yin Metal above–Yin Earth below

 January 6 – February 3 2012

We reached the final month of this very complex, highly intricate Lunar Year. The month of January, ruled by the Yin Metal energies of the bold and determined Ox will be remembered as one of the toughest months of this period. The year’s ruler, the Metal Rabbit will be teaming up with his buddy, the Metal Ox. Some of the same intense energies we encountered in December will be channelled this time deeper, into Earth. Like with multiple electric lightning bolts, Yin Earth below is   getting bombarded with strong currents under such vibrations.

Yin Metal along Yin Metal also reminds me of a sword fight, shearing scissors or surgical instruments that are carefully chopping away all excess, unnecessary baggage, overgrowth on many layers and levels of our lives. This January could resemble of one painstakingly long operation. Once the operation is successfully completed, we can walk away lighter, healthier and most likely, a lot happier. By month’s end our usual rigid perspectives may have been completely overhauled.

Yin Metal is also symbolic of precious Metals -silver and gold- the hidden treasures deep within Mother Earth. Imagine this: by trimming and pruning away excess external, superficial ego layers, we get to the essence, to the authentic Self. This is the Inner Treasure we are all led to uncover, layer by layer.

We experienced incredibly transformative cosmic Shifts arriving each month this year. The ruling Metal Rabbit needed to focus all his attention on multiple layers of detail. He succeeded, IMO, with surgical precision, busily pruning away non-essentials, to help gear us towards the higher frequency vibrations: beyond our Duality-based lives here.

In the world of global finance the great news is emerging that there are huge stockpiles of gold hidden, and carefully preserved by a group of Asian countries. This gold belonged to the ancient inhabitants of our planet and possibly will be made available again to the suffering masses once the decaying systems collapsed.

Our friend, the Metal Ox will push us forward mercilessly, to make us face the realities of our existence, the shape of things as they really are. S/he cares little if we are disturbed by the naked truth. His job is to remove all illusions about the state of affairs we are in.

The most alert and focused Ox of all, this Metal Ox will pursue any objective –no matter how impossible- to full completion. The Metal Rabbit could not have found a better team-leader to put the finishing touches on this remarkable year.

One thing is sure: once this pruning process has been completed with the leadership of the tenacious Metal Ox in January, the landscape can never be changed back to its previous shape. There is an uncompromising, unforgiving drive this Ox brings to the table.  We are all called to be on alert. If we slacken and lose focus, things may just get pruned away from view.

In short, this January we could expect fundamental changes of the highest order. The negative, intense back-biting energies that pervaded most days in December will be ‘grounded’ into the all-forgiving soils of Mother Earth. This healing process is painful, but it will start to make more sense even to those who, until now, did not care to pay attention.

First A little information on Flying Stars:

Flying Stars are Traditionally known as San Yuan, translated as Heaven Energy, or Chi energy… Like everything in nature, this energy constantly changes course.  Like the changing seasons, the cycles of night and day, or the tides of the oceans, the Flying Stars are always on the move.

This time the favourable, heavenly power Star: 6 Metal visits the centre.  The 6 star is associated with royal might, even military power, authority, leadership and strength. This mighty star empowers each one of us to stand up and fight for what we know is the Truth.  Thus we could experience a great drive for power, for survival and for justice this January.

The 6 Metal Star will assist the ruling Yin Metal Ox to lead us out of chaos. Being noble and righteous is the shortest path to our personal salvation. It will be a fantastic month to find out what our core values are. What set of ethics are we using as our Inner Compass? How far will we go to compromise and surrender our ethical standards before it will bite us in the back? This is the cross-road point of no return, IMO, with the noble 6 Metal Star bringing home a poignant message.

During January the Stars are forming what is called a ‘pearl effect,’ nicely reducing or enhancing each other’s influence.  This allows for a more harmonious energetic balance, so as none will be affecting us more harshly than the next one. Monthly Forecast: Month of the Metal Rat – Geng Zi: Yang Metal above–Yin Water below

December 7 – January 5 2012

In last month’s blog I briefly commented on the state of the world economy: “The stable Earth energies in October and November offer some needed stability and – alas- false hope that all will be well with the financial markets in the long term. I must caution that next month’s Yang Metal energies may put an end to such illusions about the fate of the financial markets. The slippery-slope of the last 3-4 years did not disappear, nor will the ‘business as usual’ magically return.”

We reached this critical juncture at this time, IMO. The ongoing artificial attempt to stretch the delicate fabric of the financial markets indexes is about to leave a giant hole all over the map in December.

The gentle, nurturing energies of the Earth Boar will give way to the passionate -almost fanatic- intensity of Yang Metal as we will be shifting our world into further duality (for the time being). The intense energies of the Metal Rat is about to influence our lives for the next 30-some days.  Generally, the Rat person is usually charming, jolly and socially popular. Yang Metal adds a more idealistic, perfectionist colour to this influence. The Metal Rat displays all the above characteristics. The Rat likes to pride himself on being able to get into the best social circles. This added pride often leading to obstinacy, a double amount of passion and dogged conviction makes for an intense mix.

There is an ambitious influence of this power-hungry sign that can get us close to the edge this month. I am using this term symbolically, of course. The negative aspects of the monthly and yearly combination could be likened to a double-edged sword that may unleash some envious, greedy individuals or groups to act out their ‘revenge’ all the while justifying their actions with their fanatic beliefs. ‘So, what else is new?’ -you may ask.

It is true, this was the relevant theme during most of the past ten-plus centuries of the ruling elite groups: acting out of their false, fanatic beliefs that has lead our planet, our eco-system and humanity itself to the brink of destruction. This December many of us will be acutely reminded of this fact. In short, you can tell, I am not very optimistic about the energetic patterns of this month.

What do we get by combining the Yang Metal/Yin Water-based monthly energies with the year’s ruler, the Metal Rabbit’s energies? Well, we could end up with too much in-fighting, backstabbing, secret operations, pre-emptive attacks, or similar such calamities.  In short, the overwhelming influence of Metal brings a harsh influence during the coming days ahead. We have no choice and must enter this dark rift. IMO, it may be a much-needed ‘ego-cleansing’ period of sorts.

Imagine this metaphor: large groups being sorted on huge blocks of ice, while the ice suddenly cracks, and these blocks of ice start floating ever farther from one another, leaving an impassable gap between each ice planes. That is how this December’s Yang Metal above yin Water energies feel to me.

Most organic living beings (including us, humans) are at their highest possible vulnerability level at this time in history. Yet, at the same time this is the most faithful moment we have reached in our evolution. While we are here helping Mother Earth with her birthing process, the rebirth is also happening to us all.

While living through these darkest, most faithful December days and nights (in the Northern Hemisphere), Gaia’s amazing rebirth process has reached its most critical phase. Our Metal Rat, –being first in the cycle of Birth- true to its colours wanting to be Number One- is bravely leading the way.

With the colder elements of Metal and Water dominating this December, we should also count on more frigid temperatures, colder than usual weather all over the map, but especially in the Northern Hemisphere of the planet.

Monthly Flying Stars: 7 Metal Star - December 2011

As in March 2011, the unfavourable fighting Star: 7 Metal  visits the centre.  This year it doubles up once again with the line-up of the yearly Flying Stars. This Star is symbolic of the ‘broken soldier’. It can also be associated with robbery of all sorts, including energy-robbing,  accidents, gossip, back-stabbing and in general: it carries strong negative emotions of a deceptive quality. While we had a nice breather month in November, we must face another wild ride in December.

The visiting monthly 7 Metal Star could make us feel more irritable with each other: doggedly wanting to protect our personal space, time, possessions, beliefs… you get the picture. The message here it seems, is that we should not give into this tendency and make sure we can transcend it, rise above the pithy fights, resentments or these tense attitudes.

The coldest darkest nights of this December could teach us volumes about opening up: to make a real effort to share the warmth of our hearts and open our arms to one another. My hope is that we will ride out this final dark rift and pass the test with flying colours.

During December the Stars occupying the 4 Cardinal directions bring the most powerful changes. Just like in March 2011, we must brace for the double harmful effects of the monthly and yearly 5 Stars in the Eastern parts of the planet, continent or a given country.

Next, the double 3 Wood Star could create serious havoc in the North of a continent or a country as well. Double-trouble can arise in the South with both the yearly/monthly 2 sickness Star taking up residence there.

It would be best advised to protect the East with the effective***Salt-Water cure, or by using one of the many Metal cures for the afflicted areas of the East and the South this month. The best cures for the North would be using red-coloured items, decorative object to transmute the strongly conflicting influence of the double 3 Wood Stars in that region of a home or office environment.

In the West the passionate 9 Fire Star brings a double–punch of Fire-power. New beginnings or great recognition is likely to arrive from any Western countries, states, continent or western part of the globe.

In earlier articles I have promised to get back to the issue of how the energies will continue and what Mayan calendar, if any, to use after its “end”. What the October 28, 2011 “end” means here is that the thirteen baktun Long Count and the other eighth sequences of thirteen heavens have now all been completed. This “end” also means that the climb to the top of the nine storied pyramid has been completed and that the cosmos is not offering a higher level to go than this one of unity consciousness. The seventh day of the Ninth wave, October 11- October 28, 2011, was the first time in cosmic history that all the nine waves were activated in a state of light and in fact an excellent opportunity for integration of their total energy field. October 28, 2011, 13 Ahau in the tzolkin, was the fundamental shift of the ages and now for some time the composite of these energies will be playing out in our individual lives as well as in the history of our planet at large. There is no turning back.

So what is the nature of the energies that currently maintains the energy field of the planet? To begin with it seems clear that we do not now at this point live moment by moment by moment, but experience a continuity with the past. This means that all waves and cosmic energy cycles have not come to an end, but some remain in existence creating an experience of an ongoing flow in our lives. The question is then how these waves continue. After discussions with people, who like myself, can actually feel the energies of the Mayan calendar, and by observing how these energies are now manifesting in the world I feel that I have now got clarity about in what form the cosmic energies are creating continuity. I would like to share this very briefly in this communication. The full consequences of the shift of the ages will have to be dealt with later, maybe in book form. There are many consequences of this in the form of leaving past traditions that are no longer relevant to instead enter something entirely new.

Most important in this moment is that the Ninth wave is continuing! As of November 16, 2011 we are now in what we might call the eighth day of the Ninth wave, a day that will continue for a total of 18 days and then turn into a night. The Ninth wave will continue indefinitely, and, if you like, “grind” the new unity consciousness into existence, but since the Ninth wave is open-ended the same can be said about our future. Logically speaking this implies that the same is true for the other waves as well, which on October 28, 2011 also all turned into nights (Hence the calmness that many experienced after the shift). The other waves we will however not have to concern ourselves with until October 23, 2012 when the Eighth wave again turns to a day.

The fact that the Nine waves seem to go on indefinitely, indicated also by some Palenquean dates deep into the future, means that several metaphors that we have previously used to describe our world at this time may not apply. There will for instance not be any “birth” of a new world as I may have worded it previously, because a birth is something that happens within a defined time-frame. Rather, as mentioned above, the new world will be grinded into existence in a way where the scenarios can no longer be scripted in time. What happens depends totally on what course of action human beings choose. What this also means is that the seed-to-fruit processes that characterized the world before October 28, 2011 are no konger in operation. Put in other terms, with the October 28, 2011 shift of the ages humanity is leaving behind the 7 + 6 = 13 scheme that has been at the heart of creation stories in Abrahamic religions, the holy seven of many other spiritual traditions and the number 108 of Hinduism and Buddhism. These numerological definitions of divine creation processes were not false of made up. They were real until October 28, 2011, but do not apply after this shift date. Looked upon in this way maybe we can begin to understand how big the shift in fact was even if it will take some time before it lands in people more broadly. What has happened is not only a conceptual or calendrical change, but a fundamental shift in the reality that we are living and which calendars should describe. The end to the actual applicability of the religious creation stories and their numerologies coincides notably with a shift where the divine (God or Goddess) are now completely to be found inside the human beings themselves.

This change applies just as much to Mayan religiosity as to any other and is also directly linked to the applicability of the tzolkin at the current time. In an article written before the shift I raised the question whether the tzolkin would still be valid after the shift. I now realize that this question was not correctly posed. What now seems to be the case is that the twenty glyphs are still valid to express the diversity of the energies of a twenty-day uinal (After all, the nine waves are still in operation and differ in frequency exactly by factors of twenty). Yet, as far as I can tell the number thirteen and the trecena has now lost its energetic power as the cosmos broke through the limit of 13 energies (We are now in Heaven 15 of the Ninth wave) and the waves will continue indefinitely. We may still count days and nights, but the limit of thirteen has disappeared. In practice this then also means that the tzolkin of 13 x 20 = 260 days no longer is a relevant matrix of time, since only the twenty day signs retain an energetic meaning. Needless to say, this is a means of approaching the Mayan calendar in order to recognize the truth and is only partially consistent with tradition. It is about finding a calendar that gives a meaningful understanding of the ongoing course of events in light of the presently dominating cosmic rhythms. We should keep in mind that the Mayan calendar is not static, but has undergone dramatic change several times in the past three thousand years. The reason is simply that the energetic reality of the cosmos has changed dramatically over this period of time.

I hope some may now better realize how significant the shift of the ages actually was. What happened was that the energetic basis for all the world’s religions, or at least for their creation stories, has now disappeared. Until October 28, 2011 the limiting constraints of 7+6 = 13 still existed as a cosmic reality and many of my own presentations were also based on this fact. As this energetic basis has now been broken through, and the waves continue endlessly beyond thirteen, the divine outside of ourselves disappears and is moved entirely within ourselves. Not as a choice, but as a necessity. The ramifications of this are much too far reaching to develop fully in an article like this, but before ending I would like to comment on the continued political-economic crisis in the world.

In my article of November 8, 2011, I described some very significant events that accompanied the shift of the ages in the external world. I then also pointed out the necessity of keeping an eye on the planetary midline of the 12th longitude East for those that want to track the course of events, because this is where duality was originally introduced. (As an indication of the relevance of this, Berlusconi fell less than a day after I said it would happen). I feel this focus will be equally relevant when it comes to the continue grinding action of the Ninth wave. Thus, in addition to the reactivation of the Occupy movement in the US as well as the popular revolutions of Syria and Egypt, a clear deepening of the Euro crisis took place at the beginning of the eighth day of the Ninth wave. I am convinced that key European politicians now fully realized that there is no way that the southern European nations will be able to successfully find a way out of their debt crisis. (Up until October 28, 2011 they still thought they could find a solution to the situation.) As these nations also include, despite its shift n government, Italy, the third largest economy of the EU, they also now realize that it will not be possible to save the Euro and will start to act accordingly no matter what they say publicly. Thus, it remains true that it is the days of the Ninth wave that are carrying the unity consciousness and will serve most clearly to erode the old system of dominance. I do not want to make any timed predictions about the erosion of the world order of economic dominance, since this no longer seems possible. The point to realize is however that the Ninth wave is still in operation and that especially its days will continue to grind unity consciousness into existence.

November 8 – December 6 2011

Earth Boar – Ji Hai - Yin Earth -Yang Water

Last month’s recap: I ended on this statement: “The evolutionary road has reached a crossing point. Space-time is curving back on itself …Thus the tracks of the new road will be co-created with instant manifestation and awesome spiritual mastery.”

The pragmatic, calm and reliable Earth Boar is in charge for the next 30-some days. Yin Earth will be a welcoming energy after all the drama and confusion of past months. It is timely that we feel a bit more certain about ourselves because we finally have some more information to work with. It will help formulate a workable plan and help us plough forward steadily, step by step.

As you can see, the gentle Earth Boar has her job cut out this November. The quietly building momentum in October has reached a crescendo of sorts: a point of no return. We are eager to get our hands ‘dirty’: make substantial changes in our world. The fertile grounds and rich soil of Yin Earth will be ploughed and planted with new seeds. Planting seeds is arduous: results are invisible for some time. Will this month be remembered as the moment we stepped out on a limb?  Will we really know what direction our lives are taking? While it may be impossible to tell for now, we are just planting seeds and keep on keeping on.

The ruling Yin Earth energy of this month is nurturing and supportive enough to forge new ideas, to create a new path we could step on. There is a wonderful feeling of camaraderie woven into the fabric of this month’s complex patterns. The pig loves company, she is a gracious host: loves to indulge and share her resources. This month could see people navigating into ever widening chains of unified groups while building momentum locally (and some) globally during the cohesive, binding influence of the Earth Boar.

It is true, we all do feel quite vulnerable as humans right now, more than ever, but our connectedness to the bounty and unconditional Love of our Mother Earth is hard to ignore. This month we are reminded more than ever how infinitely deep our gratitude needs to be for what we already have.

While some may be out on the streets shouting various demands, the simple truth this Boar brings home is that that there is always enough to be had, provided we express our loving gratitude, our willingness to share and humbly accept help from others if we need to do so.

The hard-working Earth Pig can teach us a thing or two about being practical, steadfast and humble. These qualities bring success to this ‘lucky’ Boar – but the truth is the ‘secret’ of her abundance is really in her hard, steadfast work and strategic planning.

A few words about the economy: during Fire and Earth-ruled months we usually see an up-surge in the financial markets, as there is a lot more optimism (Fire), more activity and hard work (Earth), during such energies. This was true for the last two Fire months –although Metal (in the branches) below, gave some of us the feeling that we were dancing on razor blades. The stable Earth energies in October and November offer some needed stability and – alas- false hope: that all will be well with the financial markets in the long term.

I must caution that next month’s Yang Metal energies may put an end to such illusions about the fate of the financial markets. The slippery-slope of the last 3-4 years did not disappear, nor will the ‘business as usual’ magically return. In any case, many will likely enjoy this November’s bounty like there is no tomorrow: alas, that is our human nature, and our indulgent Earth Boar will love hosting the party. However, as December’s sober reality will bring us back to Earth, it would be well-advised to use some pre-planning and remain proactive: just in case: to prepare for that rainy day.

Monthly Flying Stars -November 2011

The stable, steady, youthful 8 Earth Star visits the centre: this is a very favourable influence. This star represents wealth, financial transaction – in short, it is all about business. It feels to me like November is the most fateful month for the ruling 1% of the financial world. As we can see from the above report, the kind and indulgent Boar will go out of her way to give an exquisite good-bye party of sorts. It is all an illusion, people: the wealth of the top 1% and the appearance of great financial success of kingdoms, kings and queens, governments, religious powers and global corporations: it is a giant balloon that is about ready to pop.

Those who are aware and have been holding their breaths watching, waiting for the moment of no return from the foggy illusionary path of the last 2000 plus years will see that their senses were right. The clearing is still far ahead, yet our awareness, that something is about to pop, is getting a huge upgrade well in advance.

Last month’s 9 Purple Fire Star did shine its light on many important truths – opening eyes and minds ever wider all over the globe. This month’s Flying Stars reflect this mood of reckoning- giving us a last chance to really party: to enjoy the last bits of our addictions to money, material comforts, and other exploits: too many to name here.

The visiting monthly 8 Earth Star this month, IMO, is really about the Youth. Specifically, it is about young men, our young sons: grabbing the baton from the hands of the older generation. There are many who would not let them do so, in which case they will simply step out and demand it. Thus the tension of heavily shifting gears will be strongly felt in November.

This 8 Earth Star is in mixed company with the yearly 7 Metal Star: reflecting the possibility that we could easily experience human losses – losses of many young lives.  While the top 1%: the global corporations, corrupt governments, banks are under heavy pressure, they will not go out without a fight – and we could witness dramatic developments in November.

The remaining Flying Stars for this month also reflect that the old ‘Power Groups’ are losing ‘ground’ and are disintegrating under the 8-7 Star’s combined energy loss. We can truly witness the last throes of Big Powers in November.

The yearly 4 Star gets some ‘argument’ in the SW area from the visiting malevolent  5 Star, while the 6 yearly Power Star is holding steady in the SE region.

In the NW the monthly 9 Fire Star brings reinforcement to the yearly 8 Earth Star. Meanwhile, the yearly 1 Water Star in the NE combines with the visiting sickly 2 Star. This influence could mean a possible spillage, or some type of environmental damage in the NE waterways or oceans.

Most other areas are nicely mitigated, giving us a well-needed break for this month, only to get us rested up for December’s big show-down. During December’s line-up the Flying Stars will repeat that of the March 2011 pattern: but more on that later. In the meantime, let us enjoy the bounty of harvest and blessings of Mother Earth and Father Sun while opening our Hearts and Minds ever wider to allow the youth to step out and shine.

Earth Dog- Wu Shu- Yang Earth -Yang Earth

Last month I reported:  “By months’ end, as we enter the 6^th Night, the possibility for more revolutions around the globe will be brewing in the hot embers of this September’s [cleansing] fires”.

This is where we left off, I believe. What’s next? The slow-burning embers of September’s fires will be suddenly halted or even quenched, IMO. Why? October’s ruler, the hefty Earth Dog’s elements are made of massive, rocky, Yang Earth above, and more Earth, representing a …mountain, below. Beneath this mountain, or should I say within this mountain hide precious treasures: Metals – and some more Yin Fire. Earth is full of treasures, waiting for us to discover them. The rocky mountain territory of this Earth Dog can suddenly make some of us feel safer, more solid and balanced. Others may find this powerful Yang energy more like a wall, as if their progress is blocked…but it is simply there to slow us down and not rush in the wrong direction.

Earth Dogs by nature are fair, compassionate, disciplined and supportive. They can also act obstinate and quick to pass judgement. The Earth Dog makes an excellent leader and many groups suddenly may find their own leaders emerging this month as they need help to take drastic action during the following weeks and months.

The chaos of past months will turn to practical reviews, realistic assessments of the current reality we find ourselves in. In short, this could seem like a quiet month, but furiously eventful, mostly, behind the scenes.

We have reached the end of the evolutionary road!  We are entering a sobering period, and need all the events to sink in, get absorbed: allowing the brand new energies get settled within.

Too much happened, too fast during the past two fire-ruled months, so the sobering effects of this October can help us go back within and dig out those treasures from the deepest core of our Being. As much as many people still hope that solutions to the mounting personal and global problems will be served up to them from ‘out there’, during this month massive numbers of them will wake up to the ‘Inner Truth’ beneath the surface.

This energy is not here to curb anyone’s enthusiasm, only to gently steer it in a well-defined direction. Last month we did not know about any directions at all yet, but by month’s end the picture will start looking a lot clearer, giving us confidence in ourselves and the potential we feel we have to build a humane world upon the rubble of the decaying old systems.

It is important to note, that the 7^th Day of ALL 7^th Days is also arriving on October 11 – coinciding with the Full Moon that day. The last segment of a 16 plus billion year’s evolutionary journey of all living species -including our human family- is about to be completed this month. The 7^th Day is symbolic of fruition: the final stage, the ripe fruit of our consciousness. This short 18 Day period can prepare huge masses of various species living inside this magnificent planet for Ascension, depending on their individual frequency levels.

This is truly the most magical month of 2011, IMO. The evolutionary road has reached a crossing point. Space-time is curving back on itself once again, like it did 26,000 years ago. Thus the tracks of the new road will be co-created with instant manifestation and awesome spiritual mastery.

Monthly Flying Stars - October 2011

Another favourable Star visits the centre: the 9 Purple Fire Star –symbolic of fame, recognition, expansion, also helping with new developments and resolutions.   As the fiery dramas of August and September are changing course, this Star can bring us to new levels of understanding about what direction our lives are going.

The 9 Purple Fire Star shines on those who are deserving of recognition, so we could expect new leaders: new ‘kids on the block’ to appear and get sudden fame. Anyone can get into the limelight this month, recognized for their hard work, talent or skills. Conversely, we may also see more than the usual share of notorious developments about those who use unethical means to press ahead. On the 7^th Day of this Unity Consciousness wave, all unethical deeds will stand out like a sore thumb and this Fire Star will shine on it, like a laser beam.

The monthly 9 Purple Fire Star  teaming up with the yearly 7 Metal Star this month could mean more drama: producing ever  higher levels of the negative aspects of the 7 Star: corporate greed, govt. corruption will be under heavy pressure, while many will still try to get away with robbery, deception and back-stabbing. Alternately, the hidden meaning of the 7 Metal Star offers a spiritual awakening, but for now, the drama will be played out in full view, to be sure!

The remaining Flying Stars this October reflect a supporting cast to this drama as well.  With the exceptions of the ‘corner’ Stars all four areas are beset with some heavy development.

The yearly 4 Wood Star continues to bless us with healthy developments in the SW area, with the help of the 6 monthly Power Star adding to its favourable placement there. The SE region also has an advantage this month: the yearly 6 Metal Star combines well with the 8 Earth Star’s positive influence there. In the NW we see a pleasant meeting of Earth and Water: as the monthly 8 Earth Star joins with the 1 Water Star – suggesting helpful cooperation in the NW regions of a country, continent or the planet. 

 This time the unfriendly visit from the monthly 5 Earth Star takes to the North, where the already malevolent influence of the yearly 3 Wood Star’s visit creates havoc. Meanwhile, the yearly 2 sickness Star is joined by the monthly 4 Wood Star in the South, mitigating any harmful influence there. The West gets a visit by the monthly 2 sickness Star this time, enhanced by the yearly 9 Purple Star, so we must be pre-warned of any contagious diseases emerging from the western parts of the world, country or continent.

While the East did not get any break all year so far, this month we finally see a little relief with the 7 Metal Star’s visit to that region, as Metal helps mitigate the yearly 5 Star’s harsh effects.

Fire Rooster – Ding You - Yin Fire -Yin Metal

Welcome to the transformative, healing warmth of Yin Fire in this new Lunar Month of September.  We can safely say that last month’s powerful Yang Fire energies made us stronger, tougher –and hopefully- wiser than ever. This month the test of fire continues and intensifies. The saying: “What does not kill you makes you stronger” applies here. As I write this -on Sept. 3- the liberating wind of the Sixth Day on the Mayan Calendar is building momentum! Can you feel these immense Shifts in our consciousness software?

Starting Sept 5^th we are stepping into Day Six –symbolized by ‘Flowering’. The powerful clean-up during Night 5 left a ‘stressed-to-the max’ planet and most of her inhabitants bewildered.

What can we expect from the dramatic Fire Rooster’s influence this September? As in 2001, ever since ten years ago, this month will forever be linked to the infamous ‘9-11 event’ so as to pre-empt a great dose of fear into our hearts. But this Rooster’s noisy fanfare should not be taken seriously. After all, it is still just a chicken, for crying out loud! There is a difference of energies this year from that of 2001 and it is tremendous!

Great creativity and magic is woven into the short 18-day period of the Sixth Day (from Sept 5-22) and we should use this period to its fullest. No doubt, Yin Fire above Yin Metal continues to test the very fabric of our souls. However, the destructive influence of the Yang Fire energies in August are now replaced by the cleansing effects of Yin Fire. We just need to allow its warm healing waves to raise our frequencies.

Yes, thanks, to the ‘Flowering’ influence, there is a fantastic potential for magic, happiness, carefree creativity and loving unifying energies to blanket the majority of days this September. The slow burning embers of Yin Fire can warm the hearts – thus the potential for fear should be replaced with the healing energies of love. It is truly up to each one of us how we allow this shift to heal all shadow energies from within, and replace fear with courage and love.

The Rooster is a creative leader, a great social organizer and loves to be the centre of attention. The Fire Rooster’s great charisma and popularity could bring many friends and enemies to his/her side. This translates into small circles of friendly groups emerging from the jungle of fear, reaching out to help one another. The purifying Yin Fire this September is here to teach us how to find out the real truth about who our true friends and real enemies are. Many groups may wake up to realize who it is they can or cannot trust.

Will people finally learn that it is best to rely on one’s own efforts, knowledge and skills, and not sit back to wait for corrupt politicians to make life-changing decisions for them? It is the potential influence of the sharp-minded and no-nonsense Rooster to make us scratch a bit longer, until we find that deeper truth hiding just below the surface.

By months’ end, as we enter the 6^th Night, the possibility for more revolutions around the globe will be brewing in the hot embers of this September’s fires. May all of us get through the cleansing fires safe, sound and strong!

Monthly Flying Stars - September 2011

The favourable influence of the 1 Water Star –symbolic of growth, reputation, recognition and personal development- is flying to the centre this month.  After the fierce drama in August we have the opportunity to focus on our inner development and personal growth for a change. The pace slows down, allowing us to think things through and act when we are armed with better knowledge and understanding of the truth.

The 1 Water Star, like a mirror, reflects back the naked truth as it shines right in our faces: we will not be able to dismiss it! We could feel the temperatures still high, due to the hot tempers of this Rooster, yet the incredible vulnerability we feel now will force us to recognize that the only path we can head down on may lead to personal liberation. Starting this month the ultimate fight for our sovereign freedom is about to begin in earnest.

Meanwhile the mighty power of the yearly 7 Metal Star (symbolic of ruling powers) is starting to crumble under the heat of this slow-burning fire. Still, let us not get too confident just yet, danger is lurking around the bend (in October).

The Flying Stars this September reflect a mixed month.  The ruling 1 Water Star in the centre brings slow but healthy progress forward and the positive influence of the monthly 4 Star could produce healthy developments into the NE. The SE region gets a huge power boost also, with the monthly 9 purple Star’s visit there.  All other areas are neutralized by monthly and yearly stars mitigating each other’s influence, thus major calamities in the N, NW and SW may be avoided.

However, the unfriendly visit from the monthly 5 Earth Star in the South needs attention as the calamities may be prolonged by the presence of the yearly 2 sickness Star. The other complicated area this time is pointing us to the West where the angry 3 Star will be joining forces with the yearly 9 purple Fire Star. This star -enhancing the 3 Star’s effects- could result in volcanic activities or earthquakes, with the possibilities of fires added in the mix, so any western region of a country, continent, or the planet should be warned.

We still need to keep watch for the East as well, where the yearly 5 Star could stir up trouble, as it meets up with the monthly 8 Earth Star. Earthquakes or sudden volcanic eruptions in the Eastern region of a country, continent or the globe could continue to occur under such influence. The Northern parts remain in a strange power struggle, but in September the yearly 3 angry Star is somewhat mitigated by the monthly 6 Star for now.
