A difficult, tricky, yet  progressive month ahead. Good thing we will have the inventive, clever and fun-loving Wood Monkey in charge this August.

Did you take time out to visualize your Intent for your life in July? If you did, this month will give you a great opportunity to test your new creative ideas and plans. The Yang Wood element in this chart proposes new possible ways to get our problems solved, with the quickest, easiest way possible. The Wood Monkey is here to help us get out of a rut and change the course of our lives, if needed.

Collectively, we could feel more hopeful and optimistic for a change: we might find that our skills and abilities can get us through any complex circumstances. There could be a lot of maneuvering going on in the financial markets this August – due to the helpful influence of Yang Wood – but don’t let that fool you. Although things may ‘seem’ to be getting back to business as usual, we should keep our ‘truth-meters’ close at hand and double – check every piece of information we get.

There are lots of tricksters in places of power still, hoping to gain from a last-minute opportunity. But alas, soon -by October/November – the sign on the door will read: ‘Game Over’ and we can start feeling the sweet smell of freedom from oppressive power gamers as we are nearing the era of ‘Unity Consciousness’ in 2011.

At issue here is that the yearly Metal Tiger and the monthly Wood Monkey express opposite energies this month. We will see some serious battles fought to the end as this Metal Tiger will not enjoy any trickery and manipulation brought on by the influence of this Monkey at his expense.

In general, Humanity is being empowered more and more to level with their rulers and reach for the highest truth. This month can bring us a quantum jump forward in that direction!

Monthly Flying Stars – August

This August the troublesome 5 Earth Star meets the yearly 8 Earth Star in the Center. There is no easy way to say it: this duo means trouble – trouble for Mother Earth, and all sorts of trouble for the status quo (meaning TPTB –the powers that be).

This chart calls for reform, renewal, restoration, etc.: you get the picture.

The only solid, good locations this month are the NW – visited by the powerful  6 Metal Star and the N – with the 1 Water Star visiting there.  Hopefully, lots of smart, innovative ideas will emerge from countries, continents, cities – the USA, Canada, Europe perhaps? – located in these areas.

The South and SW remains the most serious trouble spot, but since the 5 Star visits the Center, all the turbulence is now traveling into the central areas as well, reminding everyone to take notice!

The Flying Star energies between East and West seem to be entangled in a standoff for the time being. Meanwhile the 2 sickness Star visits the SW, meeting up with the yearly 5 Star in that location. Take all precaution with food and drink, using preventative care to avoid health problems there.

On a personal level, to mitigate the influence of the troubled areas of the Center and the SW we can use Metal coins,  any metal objects, vase, statues, etc.

Stay strong, vigilant and use your Intent to get through this month or any month – it will be needed!

After all the hustle and bustle of the highly dramatic spring months – can we still remember them? – we enter another Water-ruled month. In July we find ourselves under the influence of the peace-loving, calm and quiet Water Sheep.

For those of you who can’t remember, here is a glance back: Yang Water started dominating the onset of summer this June: I said last ‘month will be remembered for when all the floodgates have opened’.  Truly, all remaining layers of illusions are being washed away from our Reality and this trend continues, and may even intensify under the gentle but steady flow of Yin Water.

As many of us may have been initiating new projects, big changes or entirely new beginnings, this month may seem like it will offer a needed quiet period to just get on with the flow of things for the time being. Normally, I would agree with that statement.

However, this year we may not be able to have such an easy way out, as the dynamic energies of the Metal Tiger year will not really let us take our eyes off the ball.

It is more like a mid-term time, to reflect and re-evaluate on what the journey has been so far. And what a tough journey we are on this Sixth Night of the Galactic Underworld!

Counting from its onset in Nov. 2009, we are two-thirds done! This calls for a Celebration! I invite you to become a part of the Conscious Convergence on July 17-18 and join thousands of Convergence Celebrations around our little planet.  In our own way we can add our intentions and prepare for the 9^th and final Age (based on the Mayan time line), called the Universal Underworld coming up in March of 2011.

This July is a perfect time to begin anticipating our shift towards Unity Consciousness and the final days of the outgoing Dualist Consciousness. You may say- but it seems impossible, we are more divided now than ever… I agree, it does look as if Humanity is just unable to get out from under the deep throes of such divisions… yet, deep in our hearts we have a yearning for Unity: and it is time, we must give it power: this yearning must be heard!

Back to our July predictions: In this relatively calm month of the caring, nurturing Water Sheep we may want to take time to create authentic intentions for our personal world as well as the collective world we want to live in.

Yin Water is symbolic of visions and the imagination – it could not be a more perfect time for creative co-creation! Truly, this may be a month when we will start to get a brief glimpse at the Bliss of what our future may feel like once we enter Unity Consciousness!

To be sure, the Water Sheep can be a bit smothering with her nurturing ways, and pout if we do not pay her much attention. Yet, this month could show us the shortest way back to our hearts and start connecting with all hearts around us… there is NO other way!

As The Powers-That-Be (TPTB) could not operate, at least not for the time being, on the heart-level – only sovereign individual humans can do that: corporations and systems cannot – their days are surely numbered. Like small children in a sandbox, they still want to get their hands on all the toys and even the sandbox itself! Those who still cling to this ancient mentality are surely having a more painful time with our rapidly shifting Consciousness.

Weather? You guessed it: a bit soggy in many parts, especially in the Southern regions – again! Unusually rainy or humid days could alternate with windy, dry and colder days and nights.  No, it will not be a boring month, I can promise you that much!

This July the powerful 6 Metal Star – representing Heaven – meets the yearly 8 Earth Star in the center.

6 Metal is a favorable influence, as it can bring strength and confidence back into the center of things: into our own individual Selves that is! It’s about time.

But let’s not be too optimistic yet. The yearly 8 Earth Star is to lose balance in this bargain: How? Could it mean another devastation occurring on Mother Earth somewhere again?  Certainly, with the yearly 3 Star stirring trouble with the visiting 1 Water Star – the most troublesome area this month seems to be the South – again! Still, I feel somehow, that there may be hope for the Gulf after all?

The NE could see some health –related problems, as the yearly 2 sickness Star gets a boost from the visiting 9 Star in that area. Be sure to double-check the foods and drinks you consume this summer.

This month the 5 Star visits the SE, but it is mitigated by the yearly 7 Metal Star. Meanwhile, big trouble is brewing in the SW area of a country, continent or the planet: the monthly 3 trouble Star meets the yearly 5 double-trouble Star in that region… More earthquakes? Possibly!

The best locations this month are the East – visited by the 4 Star of Love and Knowledge and the West – visited by the monthly 8 Earth Star: Could there be a chance for peaceful negotiations between East and West? Let us all envision such an outcome!

Ren Wu – Water Horse – Yang Water- Yin Fire

While great Astrological influences of Planets and Stars are busy making sure that the remaining layers of illusions are being washed  away from our Reality, the playful and jolly Water Horse arrives to remind us: stay flexible , do not take anything too serious, and remain calm under pressure.

The month of June is always ruled by the Horse and traditionally this is the time most people relocate, change jobs, travel, etc. This month is no exception, but coupled with the powers of the Metal Tiger – ruler of the year- we can expect an increased level of changes on many fronts, maybe simultaneously – be it relocation, travel, beginning, or ending relationships, businesses, changes in educational pursuits…just to name a few…On the collective level we will see even greater changes than ever expected in the structures of government, military, banking, stock markets – and on and on…

In short, this month could be remembered by something like “ it was the month when all the floodgates opened”… Truly, we will see life-changing events take place, yet they will appear as if they just ‘float by’ without much effort.

This June will fly by fast, because the Water Horse inspires multiple activities, movements in all directions, and before we can blink an eye, we are paddling down into new, unknown waters.

Yang Water above Yin Fire creates hot steam, thus verbal battles based on negative emotions should be dealt with before they get out of hand.

The weather could reflect the capricious energies of the Horse: with Yang Water dominating, more rainy or cloudy weather is possible. Unexpected, heavy rainfalls may cause trouble in the North or NE parts of a country or continent.

Last month I predicted the likelihood for increased amounts of Earth quakes, especially in the Southwestern regions, and as I checked the reports, interestingly, there was at least one earthquake reported every single day in the Mexicali area, near the Southwestern USA/Mexico border!  See latest earthquake report here

This is the same area where a 7.2 magnitude quake caused great damage in the Yang Metal month of April.  However, the daily quakes this past May fortunately only reached a magnitude of 2.9 – 4.3. Mother Earth was gently releasing tectonic pressures at that single location, as to not to let them travel further North along the fault line? We are Grateful!

The 7 Metal Star meets the yearly 8 Earth Star in the center this May.

7 Metal is not always a favorable influence, as it can bring losses due to gossip, theft, legal complications or other calamities. However, it also offers the promise of spiritual growth by learning our lessons from these troubles, if we are ready.

Fortunately, this month the influence of the negative Stars are nicely mitigated in every location, so we can expect a better ‘flow’ of energies. Certainly, these Stars  will be less troublesome than during the previous months of this year.  The emphasis is in the center on the 7 White Metal Star, so be sure to use Water as a mitigating cure there.

Meanwhile, double trouble continues to plague the Southern regions, as the 2 sickness Star joins the yearly 3 Star this month. Emergency efforts will continue to pour into those areas, such as the Gulf of Mexico and Guatemala.

This month the 5 Star visits the East, but it is mitigated well by the 6 Power Star – so all eyes may be on Asia – how will they handle all this new-found power?

It will be an interesting month, in that we can truly side-step trouble if we learn to navigate from the Heart-center – not so much from the Intellect.

Xin  Si– Metal Snake – Yin Metal- Yang Fire

I am glad you got through the dramatic month of the Metal Dragon. Did you notice all the fundamental changes beginning in April?

I did. When you read this, we will be exactly at midpoint of the Sixth Night of the Galactic Age – on May 6^th. We survived the first half, so far so good…but now the real show is about to begin!

But let’s not jump ahead… This May will be a very interesting, subtle but transformational month. Why? The intuitive, introspective and very charming Metal Snake will be in the driver’s seat.

This snake can be quite a mover and shaker behind the scenes. In her quiet, unassuming but determined manner she can perform multiple surgeries with her sharp knife. A little snip here and there, and when she is done, we may hardly recognize the new landscape.

The Metal Snake is the most determined and ambitious one of the pack, and will be primarily concerned with her own well-being. Now, how will this energy sit with the grandiose, open-minded but Justice-oriented Metal Tiger? After all, he is the one calling the shots all year!

In my humble estimation, we will see or hear of bitter in-fighting behind the scenes among the secretive global powers, while those on the front lines fighting for Justice and Peace are fast preparing the new Reality that will replace old outdated systems.

What does this mean for you and me? We will sure need our Intuition and all our senses well-sharpened, to notice what’s going on. Not a month to fall asleep: remaining ignorant can be bad for your Future. So stay very vigilant, and watch where you are stepping, and you will get by just fine.

Metal above and Yang Fire below can sizzle emotions: tempers can flare up unexpectedly, so, be cautious with words and knee-jerk reactions.

Truly, May  is traditionally a wonderful month to fall in love, there couldn’t be a better time for passion.

Mother Earth and the weather can reflect these unpredictable energies as well: sudden heat waves with windy, dry conditions, followed by unusually cold days and nights are possible.

Most important, this month the likelihood for Earth quakes, especially in the Southwestern regions of the globe, or given continent/country are highly possible. We need to check the Flying Stars this month to explain why that is?

Geng Chen– Metal Dragon – Yang Metal- Yang Earth

After the seemingly calm but spooky influence of the Earth Rabbit we will witness a magnificent energy emerging: the Mighty Metal Dragon enters the scene. It will be quite a month: after all, the Metal Tiger is supposed to be in charge here. Can you feel the tension rising? I can! This month could display a showdown of powers to put it mildly!

Perhaps it will be in your own backyard, home or place of work, but most likely we will witness a war of sorts – perhaps, behind the scenes- that will develop between the major power players of our world. You will most likely not be informed about it on the mainstream news, but we can be certain, that this month will bring us closer to Justice and Truth on our planet. Why?

The formidable fighting abilities of the Metal Dragon will be aligned with the brave, unfettered powers of the Metal Tiger this April. With this much fearlessness great changes can be accomplished. In the end things could look very different, than even just a month ago.

This combative duo will fight it out to the end. Ultimately, we will all benefit from this energy, because we are at  an inevitable crossroad his year. My suspicion, (and research) suggests, that this major showdown is taking place among the big financial powers of East and West. Do your own research: do not wait for it to be announced on the 6 o’clock news!

The intensity of the Metal Dragon will increase our desire to forge forward, leave our fears behind: follow our own way even if we must burn bridges behind us. For those who are stuck with their jobs, relationships, health issues, etc., this may be an opportune time to get up and take action towards freedom.

Anything can happen this month: that goes for positive or negative action. Everything will appear in superlatives or Capital Letters, so we may want to scale back and not take things too dramatically, if that is possible! Best of Luck with your bold actions – it may be the healthiest option you have at this point!

I must mention also, that Metal on Metal increases tectonic activity, especially with the 9 Purple Fire Star entering the scene, meeting up with the 8 yearly Earth Star in the center. What a month!

Ji Mao – Earth Rabbit – Yin Earth- Yin Wood

Now, that the double-Tiger energy woke up everyone, we are entering a smoother, nicer month: so, everyone, please take a deep breath. Thank you! It is still the wild ride of the Metal Tiger year we are on, do not make any mistake about it, but we can enjoy some repast, before the ride intensifies again, after April.

This month the gentle Earth Rabbit rules, so we can enjoy her hospitality, caring guidance, even some luxuries for a change. But do keep an eye on the ball. The month of March can still be full of surprises:  for example,  erratic weather patterns, broken promises, or sudden reversals.This is all for our own education, to wake up to Reality!

The Earth Rabbit is a quiet and private soul, but loves being part of a familiar group of friends or colleagues. S/he can get along with most very well.  As  peace-loving  Souls, Rabbits in general do not like conflict and confrontation.  The Earth Rabbit, especially, prefers  an easy-going attitude, and seeks agreement over outright battles of will. This does not mean, however, that s/he will not seek the Truth, like his/her friend, the Tiger, but gathers information  in a quiet, low-key manner.

This March we should watch for some secretive political operations on the rise. The ‘powers-that-be’ are up to something, that will soon fly back in their faces. We will find it all out soon – maybe even as soon as April!

As mentioned earlier, this month more of us  will realize more than ever, that mainstream news is making less and less sense, and no one seems to be able to get the Truth from those they are expecting it. In other words, the more we are seeking peace and security, the less we can get it from our leaders.

The volatile economy seems a little more stable for now, but, here again, we can expect things to turn on their head after April rolls in. So  enjoy this beautiful, sweet Spring month while you can, and remember, the changes and leadership you are seeking resides within you: those who realize this – like the Tiger- go out and charge bravely forward!

The month of the mighty Earth Tiger is upon us. Officially bringing in the New Year and the season of Spring (in the Northern Hemisphere), the Tiger is the best choice to begin a New Year, because s/he can motivate and awaken all to begin their new journey.

If that is not enough, this month also rings in the New Year ruled by another Tiger: the Metal Tiger. So with a double Tiger influence ruling this short month, I say, let the adventure begin!

All Tigers love adventure into the unknown, they make excellent scientists, teachers, business leaders as they also love to surround themselves with an admiring group of friends, family or employees.

The Earth Tiger, especially, loves to rule and lead with great enthusiasm and genuine care. The most responsible in the Tiger group, the Earth element gives them a strong sense of responsibility and a serious drive to succeed.

This February we will get a sense of how a year ruled by a Tiger will feel like. Often it will be like hurry up and wait, as the rules and time schedules can change unexpectedly. Confusion and uncertainty can go rampant if we give into fear. So, like our friend the Earth Tiger, let us have some faith in Divine Providence that in the end all will be well.

The Tiger loves to lead but does not always know where s/he is really going. It is best not to take ourselves and others too seriously in this month (and all year)….Promises and time tables can always look different tomorrow.

February is an excellent month to start planting and planning. After all, it is ruled by Yang Wood, the symbol of new growth. Incidentally, we are officially almost halfway into the Sixth Night on the Mayan Calendar, thus this new journey could seem like a journey into the Unknown.

This may seem scary to some, but we will find that Night Journeys can bring back incredible revelations about the Truth. Now, Tigers are big on Truth and Justice. So, go ahead,  dare to start your Discovery into the Unknown areas of your Life: the Truth about your Self, the Community, Society and Humanity as a whole. The Real Truth may just open up to you like a beautiful Spring Flower!

Fire Ox – Ding Chou – Yin Fire – Yin Earth

Ox meets Ox in this combination, so right off the start we can expect very little progress or movement forward from such a conservative duo. This is the last month of the mundane, slow-paced Earth Ox year but you will wish to bring it back when you see what is ahead!

But let’s not jump ahead… The Fire Ox is a lot more ambitious- even power-hungry – than his other Ox pals, and this month can accent such tendencies in some people, systems or organizations. With a fiery temper, and single-minded approach, s/he may walk in and grab all the power s/he can- if you let her/him.

As if in a last-ditched effort, the ruling powers could try their best and intimidate, enforce and/or oppress while they can during such an intense influence.

Beware of those who only know control and authority as a way to get on in this world. Still, the clock is ticking, and such oppression and high-handedness will soon die off, like the dinosaurs. But for now, we are still here to experience the cruelty and aggression of some who take this energy too far.

To be fair, there are many of those born under this influence, who make excellent psychiatrists, teachers, actors and leaders.Their gentle, guiding and inspirational spirit is highly valued.

In any event, I am certain that this month we will experience some extremes but -hopefully- also get a fair deal if we go after what we want. The Ox is nothing if not fair to those who work hard and honestly deserve a fair share.

The yin Fire this January is surely welcome in the year of the Earth Ox, as we had very little Fire all year, except for February, March and December. We must use this Fire to warm our hearts this winter and look to what REALLY matters: Loving One Another and the Self!

Everything else should soon fall by the wayside, once the Mighty Metal Tiger enters the scene and begins cleaning up. Check in next month for more on that…

The weather remains unusually cold and dry in the Northern parts and unpredictable, even stormy in the NE.  The NW could also experience some unexpected temperatures or storms. The economy may get an optimistic boost, as I mentioned in last month’s predictions, but don’t let it fool you. Until the cleanup occurs, nothing much can be expected to go ‘back to normal’.

A High-spirited month to help end this mundane Yin Earth Ox year on a high note! We will remember that there is a lot of joy in Life, work, friends, culture and knowledge. The Fire Rat can bring out the light and joy in us.  It is no accident, that December has always been assigned to the sign of the fun-loving Rat.

In Chinese Astrology the Rat is a highly respected sign: these individuals attract many friends, associates, business deal-makers everywhere they go. The Rat can also be  serious and somewhat perfectionist about work.  S/he prides herself to be highly knowledgeable on all sorts of subjects. The Rat individual can find solutions fast, but sometimes over-commit to help others. This month we will be inspired to use our talents and ingenuity like the Rat to solve problems or come up with practical new ways to get out of tight situations.
This December will offer tremendous mental and physical stimulation, so try not to overdo it! The Yang Fire element adds more spunk to the sign of the Rat,   warming up the hearts for the Holidays! Try to resist over scheduling and over committing yourself if possible. Tempers need to be checked as well, as this Fire Rat is prone to sudden outbursts. The weather may be unusually mild in the Northern parts, while the North West could get some heavy storms, or colder than usual temperatures.

Water Rooster – Kui You: Yin Water – Yin Metal

Roosters by nature are great analysts and tireless workers. In addition, the element Water makes this Rooster more agreeable and reasonable.  However, Water could also make them get lost in detail or take too long to deliberate. This could lead to loss of focus or losing the opportunity to make timely decisions.
This is true for the month of September: a slower paced month with some sudden punches woven in. The slow-plowing Earth Ox year is at a crawling pace by this time, but gets along well with his Water Rooster partner. In fact, this is a lovely month for new romance or last -minute  weddings!

The above is well reflected in the financial markets, job markets and the weather. If anything, this Water Rooster will teach us to act with patience and look into every detail before jumping to a quick judgment. Next month,  as the ‘Judge’ – the Wood Dog- is entering the scene we will see that our patience will pay off. Then it will be time to come to some long-needed decisions and judgments.
Slower housing markets, a little better retail and the overly optimistic stock market will take us into the last quarter of this Yin Earth/Earth year.
As our Planet’s Cosmic Consciousness is moving faster and faster, it feels like a roller coaster for a lot of us. Most far planets, such as Pluto, were in retrograde motion almost all year. Pluto will be moving forward on the 11th, while Mercury is moving retrograde this September. The others (Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter… ) will follow Pluto’s forward motion later in the Fall and Winter. As we are approaching the end of Day 6 on the Mayan Calendar, those timely lessons and personal judgments about how to chose between Greed/oppression and Spiritual Freedom will come home to roost as this will be our lesson for Night 6.

This month we could expect storms, tornadoes and hurricanes, most likely in the South Western regions   of the country or a given continent. Waterways may swell into floods in the Central parts as well.(The NW could experience more rainfall as well).  ( Several hurricanes – especially, in the SW passed through…)

The Military may give a surprising announcement this month about the war: Yang Metal and Yang Water rules the Military and military servicemen. (A group of high level military leaders  stationed in Afghanistan asked for a new plan to proceed with the war …It was also announced on CNN that suicide levels by military servicemen is on the rise)…
