Month of the Wood Snake –Yi Si – Yin Wood above–Yang Fire below

If you thought things are getting too complex, wait ‘til you experience the times ahead in these 30-some days. Traditionally, May is the month of the graceful and wise Snake. Also called ‘little Dragon’, the Snake sign takes us into the mystical realms of his/her inner sanctum.

The psychological, emotional and intellectual complexity of this sign could not be emphasized enough. Snakes are also extremely irresistible, they are charmers of the highest order, but the Wood Snake takes the trophy, in my opinion. Anyone who has had the fortune to encounter someone with this energetic combo on their Day, Month or Year pillar knows just what I am talking about.

The Yin Wood element gives this Snake great intellectual stamina, and he/she is a lot more social than other types. There is a mutual nurturing flow of energies going on between the yearly Water Dragon and the Wood Snake this May.  The great inspirational powers of April’s double Dragon paved the way for us to let go of limitations and really sink our teeth into some deeper discoveries: be it our own personalities or that of others around us. We could expect our lingering ideas or old abandoned plans to suddenly blossom into practical manifestations.

This influence prepared the fertile grounds for creative breakthroughs to happen in the month of May. Green technological inventions, alternative energy applications or similar new trends for the future could pop up everywhere, possibly replacing the way we are going about living at this time.

Surely, this trend was birthing all year or even earlier, due to the fertile influence of the ruling Water Dragon, but the magic of the Wood Snake was needed to make it all manifest!

What does all this have to do with me, you ask? Well, are you ready to break through those internally and externally imposed limits to your creative impulses? Are you going to continue procrastinating through yet another month? The choices are palpable. In such a highly nurturing and fertile environment created by the mystical Water Dragon-Wood Snake duo there may not be any more excuses left. However, I never said that it is going to be easy.

The Wood Snake’s greatest asset is his/her sharp intuition. Even when under duress, this sign can unravel and renew his/her abilities to come to the top and shine. We can learn to use the energetic qualities of its intense focus and wise timing and drill deeper into our discoveries, inventions, or truth-finding crusades.

The refreshing idealism and determined creative drive of this May Snake will bring up deep-seated brilliance. However, at the same time some heavy shadow material is sure to come to the surface as well! Do not let it startle you – it is all part of the huge shifting process of 2012. This makes for a very intricate, energetically charged, exhausting time to keep up with!

The innovators, artists, risk-taking entrepreneurs will love this month. They will have a feast of activities to get their new projects and labor-of-love creations out into the light. Just as in Nature, May is the month when most new babies come into the world, this is the time we will have the chance to open the inner doors to the heights of our creative genius and surprise ourselves with the results!

There are traditionally numerous joyful celebrations around the globe greeting in May as the month of fertility. Let us celebrate the ongoing rebirth of life and all its wondrous manifestations in milliards of shapes, colors and forms in this lovely month of May!

Monthly Flying Stars: 2 Black Earth Star -May 2012

Flying Stars are traditionally known as San Yuan, translated as Heaven Energy, or Chi energy… Like everything in nature, this energy constantly changes course.  Like the changing seasons, the cycles of night and day, or the tides of the oceans, the Flying Stars are always on the move.

[I decided to shorten this part of the forecast from now on to give you a simple summary of the Flying Star’s influence for each month.]

The 2 black Earth“sickness” Star will grab our attention this month as we will have to acknowledge the dismal state of health of our planet. Central parts of continents or countries may get affected by sudden outbreaks of contagious dis-eases: man-made or otherwise. At a personal level, it is best to mitigate this influence with metal objects, like coins or wind chimes. This star’s visit will be a strong reminder how urgent it is to take better care of ourselves, our global family and our planet in general.

Besides the malefic influence of the central star of 2 Earth, the other negatively affected area to watch is the North-East. Fire-related calamities should be prevented both on land and in the waterways in the North-Eastern parts.

Best areas in May are the East and West, respectively: the beneficial combination of the 4 Wood Stars energies of Love and Knowledge should be fully utilised here, while in the South the meetings of ambition and power could be very helpful -if used for beneficial reasons- for those seeking progress in the Southern regions.
