Month of the Wood Dragon– Jia Chen – Yang Wood above–Yang Earth below

April 4- May 4 2012

A Dragon month in a Dragon year! Now there is a fun time to be had: that is if you like standing lost in the middle of Grand Central Station! It seems we are to continue with last month’s theme of surprises. Daily, hourly changes and uncertain outcomes will be the norm for this month as well – we had a taste of it in March. If you liked the complex flow of the last two Water-ruled months, get ready for some more twists and turns on the river of life in April!

We may think we can plan ahead, because the Yang Wood element is conducive of long-term planning. However, some interesting developments may jinx our comfy reliance on our efficient and organized plans just to make us start all over again.

The Yang Wood influence brings a more stubborn energy to our attitudes, as we are eager to press on with our ideas and plans but the Wood Dragon/Water Dragon combo may have something different in mind. This April’s innovative Wood Dragon may let us get started, but he will make sure that we curb our plans a few times before we get to move forward.

It is best to double check every move, every plan or every major project we want to unleash this April. This confusing situation will test our patience, to be sure. On the positive side, we may look back at this spring month with gratitude, because we could end up with much better results in the long run than what we originally bargained for. If we tune in to the energies of the whimsical, creative Wood Dragon, we could learn a lot from the wisdom generated in this short, but powerful month.

The Wood Dragon is so original, and full of great ideas, that its influence can inspire us to transform the status quo: to step onto an unbeaten path just to learn more about ourselves and the world around us. April is going to be a challenging month for those who do not like fast changes. At the same time, those who are tired of the same old hum-drum patterns of life will welcome the fresh breezes of April’s new winds. Many will find that patching up old life-styles, jobs, relationships or business patterns may no longer work – and this could be the time to break out to find that freedom they have been secretly yearning for.

As April’s changeable weather patterns fluctuate daily, so does the energy flow of this month: it, too, will keep changing course. Many paths are presented, with ever confusing patterns, directions, and yet, somehow, in the end we each will get on the correct orbit.

So let us not stress too much about the process: instead keep the eye on the final outcome: guaranteed to be tailor-made just for each one of us!

April’s unusual weather could reflect our moods, as well, as it can bring unexpected storms, tornado-like winds or higher than normal temperatures to most central areas of a country or continent. We can safely say almost the same for the world’s financial markets. Wood influence usually helps boost confidence so we can expect improvements with a lot of economies and the financial markets in general, especially, in the high-tech industries.

To sum it up: If you completed last month’s difficult tasks and finished with your Spring Cleaning, April’s complex influence may not be as confusing for you. During March you may have seen some previews of these new patterns emerging –ready to be sorted out during the powerful double-Dragon month of April. If we tackle it bravely, like the Wood Dragon would have us do, we will be well on our way!

Monthly Flying Stars: 3 Wood Star -

April 2012

First A little information on Flying Stars:

Flying Stars are traditionally known as San Yuan, translated as Heaven Energy, or Chi energy… Like everything in nature, this energy constantly changes course.  Like the changing seasons, the cycles of night and day, or the tides of the oceans, the Flying Stars are always on the move.

The Constantly Changing Ch’I Energies of the Flying Stars

The unfavourable and bad-tempered 3 Wood Star –Lu Cun visits the centre in the month of April. This is one of the challenging Stars, bringing arguments, or various conflicts to the forefront. The 3 Wood Star brings us a time of calamity in an already highly charged year. As mentioned above, the Wood Dragon does not mind stirring up some controversy, just to get us closer to the truth. This makes for a turbulent month on many fronts, as tempers can fly high: many will express impatience and downright aggression to get their way.

It would be smart to slow down, stay out of trouble or be more alert and careful to avoid hot spots in April. The best Feng Shui cure to use is of the colours red, purple or orange hues, or by lighting some candles in the central areas of a room, office or home space to mitigate the powers of this angry green Star.

The yearly 6 Power Star stands in direct conflict with the rebellious 3 Wood Star this time: symbolizing conflict between the authorities and the general public. We may witness eruptions of rebellions, strikes, demonstrations flaring up worldwide, but specifically, in the central parts of a country, continent or the globe: (Middle East?)

The line-up of the Stars reflects that trouble spots will be difficult to avoid at this time. With the possible exception of the Eastern regions, the yearly/monthly combinations appear to be in conflict with each other as well.  The yearly 7 Metal military Star in the North-West is in opposition with the peace-loving monthly 4 Wood Star, while the yearly ***5 Earth Star combined with the 2 Earth( sickness) Star in the South-East could be a location for contagious illnesses or similar calamities.

Meanwhile the NE region gets a power boost from the visiting heavenly 6 Power Star meeting up with the yearly 9 Purple Fire Star there. Some form of strange illness or epidemic could also show up in the Northern parts of a country, or continent, due to the yearly 2 Earth(sickness) Star and the 8 Earth Star combo there.  Metal cures are useful for this area.

Another area to watch closely is the South-West, where the yearly 3 troublemaker Wood Star gets a boost from the monthly visiting 9 purple Star in those parts.  The Western sector is not spared either: it gets a visit from the ***5 trouble Star where the yearly 8 Earth Star (influencing financial luck) could be negatively affected.

In summary, we can conclude that this month will stir up some trouble to bring our attention to ALL of the important areas of our lives, forcing us to keep up with the fast-paced upgrades of our cosmos.

Have a Blessed Lunar Month this April!
